Federopticos Optician Network

System of independent websites for Federopticos group opticians with additional functions to support online marketing from the headquarters.

Opticians have access to a customizable website model that maintains the brand image and enjoys centralized services for appointment scheduling, SMS, and email communication with their customers, as well as technical support. The entire network benefits from centralized automatic updates that continuously improve and expand the available services.

Additionally, it allows the marketing headquarters to share content and promotions in multiple languages with their entire network of sites, providing direct access and support on the sites without the need for a password.

The project is based on WordPress for the opticians' websites, providing them with maximum ease of management and system extension for each optician. On the other hand, the marketing headquarters has been built with a custom application capable of efficiently connecting and managing any number of opticians in the network.

Federopticos B2B and B2C E-commerce

Development of online sales systems, both internally for their own network of opticians (B2B) and for their final public customers (B2C).

Both systems have been created based on Prestashop, allowing for the use of the base functionality and extension capabilities of these systems, including key integrations with third-party services. Additionally, substantial custom development has been undertaken in both versions, connecting with their central data system to achieve seamless integration with the sales logic of a complex franchised business with physical collection at the point of sale.

From adaptations to the design and presentation of the catalog to automations of emails to intermediaries and direct consultation of points of sale in their central system, the project leverages the open-source base to streamline and provide future flexibility to Federópticos while addressing the complex needs of its sales process.

The creation of a corporate website, online store, and partner websites involved using WordPress for the corporate website with a custom-made theme, attempting to use minimal plugins or those made specifically by Pyramica.

Regarding partner websites, similar to the corporate website, we chose a custom theme using a WordPress multisite system and a multilingual plugin to launch promotions and automatic updates to all partners from a single WordPress. As with the corporate website, we aimed to use few plugins, and some were made specifically for the project.

On the other hand, the online store is built on Prestashop, with some custom modules tailored to the client's needs. Regarding the design, similar to the other options, a custom design was chosen to be more effective than commercial themes.
